Green Man, Einstein's Garden

I recently went to Green Man festival to work with the team that create the wonderful Einstein's Garden area, described as "A fusion of science, art and nature, a haven for original thinking and imaginative ideas".  We spent the week painting murals, sheds, signs, giant letters, the list goes on....  Lots of painty fun was had by myself, Poppy Heading and Liv Bargman.  Check out these shots of some of the things we got up to.

Alfresco Disco & Dave Bain

I spent last Friday helping the very talented Dave Bain with his mural for Alfresco Disco.  We started the morning painting up some signs, then cracked on with the big bit - it ended up being a 14hour day in total, phew!  Lots of paint, lots of tunes, lots of fun!  It was great to get to know the team behind the fantastic Alfresco Disco nights too.  On the day of the event Dave transformed the face of the mural....look him up to see what became of her http://davebainlatest.blogspot.co.uk/

The Hueys at Hay Festival

The brilliant illustrator Oliver Jeffers drew a mural based on his new book 'The Hueys' at Hay Festival this year, inviting other creatives to come and draw a jumper. Here's mine alongside the likes of Peter Lord, Axel Scheffler - cool!!
